Well it's probably been about two weeks since I posted. I have realized I need to prioritize things if I am going to take care of my two kiddos. We have been enjoying green smoothies! (courtesy of Dad!)
I have been trying to drink my smoothie with Ada so she'll finish it. She is definitely a lady on the run, so she'll forget about it. Here we are enjoying some 'mommy/daughter smoothie time!'
Yummy!
Cheers!
We have been eating some healthy, reasonably priced, meals, but I always forget to take photos! I am hoping to remember that! This week we had some homemade pizza with the dough from "Artisan Bread in 5 min a day!" This was given to me by a friend and it stores in your fridge for two weeks. We ate pizza every Friday night last summer. It was great. You can make any kind of pizza, as well as other bread items, with this dough. I just use the basic all-purpose flour from Walmart and it works great!
Mother's day was a wonderful time. We got to introduce Henry to his great-grandparents and enjoy lunch at Paradise Bakery with the Hunt grandparents.
Henry meeting Great-Grandma Shirley Hunt - - Ada is named after her sister!
Four generations of Hunt men! (mommy is still learning the camera!)
At home we have been enjoying lots of play time! Ada has now learned how to use the mouse on our computer and navigates quite successfully through Starfall's ABC site! She knows all her letters and most of the sounds! We are very proud of her.
I recently got out my old Graco swing chair for Henry to enjoy time outside with his sister. Apparently some old habits never die! ;)
Aside from planning and executing healthy meals, my summer goal is to organize our home. I have begun using Pinterest and reading blogs about organizing. I never knew there were other Type-A people like me who are even more organized! ;) My favorite right now is 31 days to an organized home. I hope to post pics of this as well! Here's to Health! (and organization!) Cheers!
